Cranberry relish/sauce
This cranberry sauce/relish is absolutely delicious! It's not too sour or too sweet and has a complex flavor. It is good enough to eat by itself. It probably has a lot of vitamins and nutrients and is really good for you. I made it around last Thanksgiving and have been wanting to make it again ever since. Once I make it again, I'll add pictures, as cranberries are out of season right now.
1 bag of cranberries
some sugar (if your cranberry bag has a specific amount you can use that, or to taste)
1 orange: zest and juice
1/2 lemon: zest and juice
ginger, grated
optional: splash of bourbon
Put all the ingredients into a blender/food processor and blend until mostly mixed but still a bit chunky. Put into a container and let sit for an hour or two to let the flavors meld more, though it is delicious immediately too.
You could probably use lemon juice (or lemon extract) for the lemon and orange juice (or orange extract) for the orange.
It could be interesting with candied ginger and/or orange peel.

I don't know how well this would freeze or how long it would keep in the refrigerator, but I will update this when I make it again.
